The role you’ll contribute:
Maintains clerical duties for the Perioperative Services Management Team. Plans, directs, and supervises all technical and administrative aspects of the budgeting process for Surgical Services which includes planning and monitoring the capital and operational budget. This includes preparation of monthly variance reporting at the department level and monitoring and controlling capital. Assist leadership in building Surgical Services budgets. Collaborates with PFS team to manage payment methodologies. Accountable for correlation and expenditure of invoices. Analyze financial statement trends and report findings to appropriate Leadership. Use cost/managerial accounting techniques to review and explain productivity. Prepare reports as needed. Appropriate communication with the hospital staff. Recognizes the need for teamwork and functions as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Assist in all aspects of Surgical Services departments when needed when volume and staffing dictate.

- Complies data reports for management, corporate and Leadership utilizing appropriate resources and responds to requests for data information in a timely manner.
- Responsible for developing, correlating, collecting accurate data, and writing reports for end of month, end of year, and specialty programs.
- Troubleshoots, researches, and coordinates all software problems in a timely and efficient manner.
- Researches and processes capital equipment requests as needed for Perioperative Services and Anesthesia Services.
- Creates reports for downloads and converts to spreadsheets files, reports, memos, etc. for processing as necessary.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2 years secretarial or accounting experience
