The role you’ll contribute:
Provides administrative support to the Imaging department. Per facility, assists with scheduling patients, updating patient information, and providing patients with information. Promotes patient confidentiality by screening incoming phone calls and all incoming visitors/patients to the office. Coordinates multiple department projects to be completed in a specified time frame.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Greets patients and family members.
- Registers outpatient imaging patients, enter orders and collects co-pay as determined by facility.
- Answers incoming call promptly in a pleasant, helpful manner. Triages incoming calls and obtains accurate and appropriate information for messages. Delivers messages in a timely manner.
- Communicates with Imaging staff regarding patient arrival times, tests and procedures.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- High School Diploma or GED
- One year of experience in a healthcare, customer service or administrative setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association
