The role you’ll contribute:
This position is flexible with the duties varying with the needs of the department and the experience of the student. The position does not have clinical rotations built into it; this position addresses time and duties that are above and beyond school requirements and placements.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Assists technologists and provides support to the imaging department.
- Assists technologists with preparing patients for radiology exams by positioning patients for procedures.
- Assists technologists with patient reports/charts and delivering reports to patients and physicians.
- Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Required qualifications :
- High School Grad or Equiv
- Must be enrolled in an approved ARRT, ARDMS, or CNMTB training program (At least in the second year of the program within 9 months of graduation)
- 1 years of experience in Position-Related
- Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association
