The ro le you’ll contribute:
The Pre-Access Regional Operations Manager oversees multiple functional areas at a region and/or division scope, including running consumer call center for all elective service lines, performing eligibility verification obtaining pre-cert and/or authorizations, making financial arrangements, scheduling, requesting and receiving payments for services, performing cashiering functions, working with multiple applications simultaneously, clearing registration errors and editing pre-bill. Provides direction to Pre-Access staff across AdventHealth regions and/or division. Plans, develops, organizes, directs and manages all areas as assigned. Maintains communication and acts as a liaison between ancillary, clinical, support and administrative partners within the hospital setting, as well as external constituents/stakeholders inclusive of managed care and physician practices (employed and non-employed). Ensures open communication and collaboration toward common goals. Creates and sustains a positive, productive, and collaborative work environment. Participates in strategic planning for the enterprise revenue cycle. Participates in the identification of opportunities to improve processes and to act as a catalyst for realizing these improvements. Acts as a facilitator and generator of new ideas and a mediator on difficult issues. Performs duties in absence of senior leadership and will be called to represent leadership at meetings. This position is responsible for employee hiring, training, education, development of staffing plans, and employee engagement. Identifies latent skills in staff and provides opportunities for personal and professional development. Creates customer service driven teams and fosters collaboration with physician and administrative colleagues. This position may require occasional travel. Adheres to AdventHealth Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies.

- Reviews staff productivity and quality reports as available and communicates outcomes to team and leadership in a timely manner, providing accurate statistical records and reports.
- Accountable to meet labor and budget guidelines, flexing as needed and reducing costs where applicable. Monitors team’s time and attendance according to policy.
- Develops and monitors SLAs (service level agreements) and facilitates communication of SLAs to campus partners and leadership.
- Monitors inbound/outbound call activities and manages escalations; provides oversight for developing and maintaining workflows.
- Manages Contact Center daily productivity, projects and workload balance to ensure that key responsibilities are processed to meet and/or exceed department goals in accordance with Service Level and Organizational Level Agreements. Communicates outcomes to team and leadership in a timely manner, providing accurate statistical records and reports.
- Responsible to train and evaluate team members, following Talent Care guidelines, to provide mentorship, resolve issues, and ensure performance is reviewed and progressive disciplinary procedures are followed according to policy.
- Develops and implements quality assurance processes, partners with peers and education team to identify opportunities for improvements
- Assumes a proactive approach to self-development and self-improvement to foster an environment of continual growth. Provides succession planning and encouragement to team members in order promote positive career growth.
Qualifications
T he expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- Bachelor's.
- 4 years experience.
- CHAM - Certified Healthcare Access Manager.
