The role you’ll contribute:
The Chief Compliance Officer oversees institutional compliance with federal and state regulations as well as managing contracts and Title IX. The Chief Compliance Officer is responsible for developing and implementing the company's compliance program and meeting regulatory requirements. This role collaborates closely with the compliance department and legal department to ensure the company has an effective compliance program and that all company employees understand and adhere to the policies. Additionally, the Chief Compliance Officer will monitor compliance, measure and evaluate the level of compliance across the entire organization, and investigate any incident or violation for legal or regulatory requirements.
You Will Be Responsible For:
- Maintains oversight of university-wide compliance
- Maintains databases of grievances, legal action and employee and student training/education related to compliance /policies
- Responsible for managing Title IX for the University.
- Establishes and ensures adherence to annual compliance calendar
- Develops and publishes policies and procedures, forms and notifications
- Ensures policies are up-to-date and consistent on the University website, student Handbook, Employee handbook, faculty handbook, adjunct handbook, program handbooks, Academic Catalog and in syllabus statements and manageges revisions and new policies.
- Monitors and audits consistency in department materials, policies, practices, website, catalog and handbooks across the university.
Qualifications
What Will You Need:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field of study
- Organizational and administrative skills
- Effectively communicates with university administration, faculty, staff, students and others internal and external to the university
- Understanding the policies of the university
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations pertaining to the university
- Experience with Title IX
Preferred:
- Master's in Business Administration
- Healthcare Administration or related field of study
- 5 at an educational institution
