What are the responsibilities and job description for the CT Technologist position at AdventHealth Zephyrhills and Dade City?

Duties```

Perform diagnostic CT scans on patients as ordered by physicians
Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
Position patients correctly and operate CT equipment to obtain high-quality images
Administer contrast agents when necessary and monitor patients for any adverse reactions
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze scan results
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures
Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Experience```

Minimum of [X] years of experience as a CT Technologist

Proficient in performing a variety of CT scans, including but not limited to : head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities

Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging techniques

Familiarity with aseptic technique and infection control practices

Experience working in an emergency room setting is preferred

Knowledge of sonography, PET scans, mammography, and other diagnostic evaluation techniques is a plus
