Job Description

Job Title : Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Job Specialty : Home Health

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Days, 8 hours

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Experience :

1 year of home health experience required

Travel experience required

License :

Hawaii license required

Certifications :

Arrhythmia certification preferred

COVID and flu vaccinations required

Must-Have :

Active and clear driver's license

Car insurance

Experience with Homecare Home Base and OASIS

Job Description :

Perform procedures requiring specialized training for general nursing care and related services for assigned patients.
Work under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Medical Doctor (MD) following established policy.
Participate in the planning and provision of patient care.
Use knowledge of asepsis in performing treatments, such as sterile dressings, irritations, and cauterizations.
Provide functional direction to ancillary personnel.
Rotate weekends as needed (2-3 per month).
Must have own transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance.

Mileage reimbursed below the government rate.

License application must be filed within thirty (30) days of fingerprinting.

Physical presence may be required to obtain a license from the nursing board, and arriving a few days early is recommended.
