The salary range for this position is $26.02 - $37.06/hour.

Job Summary
Oversees maintenance of automated equipment used within the pharmacy and throughout the hospital to support pharmacy services. Serves as the automated dispensing system administrator. Helps support hospital-wide controlled substance diversion program under supervision of medication safety officer.

Job Requirements
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelor’s): Required
- Master's Degree: Preferred
- Three years' hospital pharmacy experience: Preferred
- Education and experience in nursing, pharmacy, informatics, public health, computer science, statistics, or similar field: Required
- Strong PC and presentation skills: preferred
- Pharmacy Technician: Required
- State Pharmacy Technician (PTC): Required
- CPHT-NHA OR CPhT: Required
- Assists pharmacy leadership with hospital-wide maintenance of medication storage areas, quality assurance testing of compounded medications, and pharmacy equipment purchasing and their preventative maintenance. Acts as a competent clinician who provides clinical care in a skilled and effective manner, utilizing appropriate technical and decision-making skills.
- Provides clinical care efficiently and effectively using a high level of technical and organizational skills as well as critical thinking ability. Works on problems of diverse scope and substantial complexity. Assists clinical staff and department or unit management in determining methods and procedures for new tasks.
- Supports clinical enterprise management in determining methods and procedures for new tasks. Assists and audits regulatory compliance. Serves as technical specialist on daily tasks and cases. Assists in making recommendations on process improvement or development of new clinical services.
- Assists in making recommendations to management on process improvement, new processes, tools and techniques, or development of new clinical services. Works under minimal supervision, uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors.
- Models/mentors and trains staff regularly on technical skills. Provides input into hiring and promotion decisions for staff.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
