Ensures all Home Health and Hospice patient visits are staffed by employees appropriate for the discipline required for patient care. Records and communicates schedules to staff. Schedules all new referrals to the appropriate clinician based upon location of the patient and skill of the clinician.

Job Summary

Job Requirements
Education and Work Experience:
- High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
- Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
- Clerical experience: Preferred
- Schedules supervisory visits for select staff and assists with scheduling of re-assessments for speech therapy, occupational therapy and physical therapy.
- Assigns all disciplines and clinicians in clinical point of care system. Assists with changes in staff schedules and reassigns patients appropriately. Maintains on call coverage schedule.
- Notifies billing department staff of non-Medicare insurance patients and their care schedules. Communicates patient information to appropriate staff, as needed.
- Provides assistance to other administrative roles as needed, including the Home Health Patient Associate.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
