What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Caregiver position at Adventist Health?
We are seeking a child caregiver to join our team at Great ‘n Small Child Development Center. This is a 16 hour a week position to help off-set the long hours that our teachers are working. We’re looking for patient, caring, enthusiastic individuals with flexible schedules and a sense of humor to complete our group. Knowledge in working with children is a plus, however we are also happy to provide on-the-job experience. Any applicant pursuing a position with Great ‘n Small will have to complete an Oregon Central Background check found on the Oregon Department of Early Learning and Care website before an offer can be made. All other required trainings can be done after hire. Wage can flex depending on the amount of childcare experience individuals have; the starting range is $15.54 an hour.

- Heartsaver CPR (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) or Healthstream Basic Life Support (HS-BLS) or RQIBLS: Required
- FH OR OFH OR FH-efoodcard: Required
- Introduction to Child Care Health and Safety (ICCHS): Required
- Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect (RRCAN): Required
- Safe Sleep for Oregon's Infants course Certificate (SSOI): Required
- First Aide (FA): Required
Organizational Requirements:
