Job Summary:
Oversees kitchen personnel. Ensures that the stock and the facility remain sanitary. Responds to customer needs. Cashiers, and maintains quality of food. Applies substantial knowledge and experience to perform a wide range of advanced activities and/or determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals; serves as working supervisor for team or work group.
Job Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
- High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
- Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
- Five years' relevant experience: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
- SERV Safe certification or equivalent: Preferred in CA and HI
Facility Specific License/Certifications:
- SERVSAFE OR CFH OR FH-BFSC OR FH-efoodcard: Required
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS): Required
Essential Functions:
- Assists in cafeteria duties including, but not limited to cashiering and stocking vending machines.
- Completes routine inspection and properly documents log entries and generates appropriate corrective action as needed.
- Oversees personnel and responsibilities.
- Assists in the evaluation of the work performance of employees.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
