Job Summary:
Oversees day to day activities of analysts providing support and functional training in central and remote teams. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable policies. Interviews, hires, and trains employees; plans, assigns and directs work; appraises performance, performs regular rounding rewards and disciplines employees; addresses complaints and resolves problems. Utilizes key operating metrics and observations, identifies trends, and makes recommendations to leadership for improved operations. Coordinates resources for effective analytics tools and results deployment. Facilitates user groups, collecting, coordinating, and managing user issues and expectations around development, functionality, and outcomes. Collaborates with Adventist Health contributors using both manual and automated tools to ensure appropriate, effective usage and delivery of effective analytics tools to customers. Provides feedback to leadership on staffing needs and concerns.
Job Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in data analytics or related field or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
- Master's Degree in data analytics or related field or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
- Four years’ experience with information systems applying analytical methodologies, with specific experience utilizing an electronic medical record system and/or information interfaces: Preferred
- Three years’ experience working as a clinical analyst focused on delivery on analytics tools: Preferred
- One year leadership experience: Preferred
Essential Functions:
- Directs team members through regular rounding and development plans.
- Oversees communications with stakeholders, business owners, and vendors.
- Manages project timelines.
- Coordinates meetings with stakeholders and payor teams.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
