Job Summary:
Manages programs directly impacting the company, developing workstream leads and business analysts. Manages relationships with multiple stakeholders and executives while overseeing the quality of delivery of the team's assigned projects. Leads large and complex programs/projects in a cross-functional environment. Directs the activities of various levels of assigned personnel using both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment.
Job Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
- Master's Degree in health administration: Preferred
- Five years' related experience: Preferred
- Two years' healthcare experience: Preferred
- One year leadership experience: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification: Preferred
Essential Functions:
- Collects, measures, reports, and communicates program progress. Ensures requirements are documented and delivered, and that project deliverables are created, reviewed, and completed on time. Ensures project is managed with strong adherence to on-time and on-budget guidelines.
- Leads organizational change management methodology by designing and implementing specific change management initiatives associated with the strategic pillars of Adventist Health long term goals.
- Guides the creation of scope and detailed requirements for programs and projects, including facilitating requirements gathering sessions with key stakeholders, ensuring requirements are documented, and managing the requirements through the life of the project. Develops project plans for schedule, resources, and budget through collaboration with team/resource managers and executive stakeholders.
- Prepares program materials (agenda, status reports, initiative-specific documents) for key cross-functional meetings, and manages formal project documentation (decision documents, change requests, charters, program management plan, etc.) Conducts quality control and review of project status and progress reports. Collects, measures, reports, and communicates projects' progress with project stakeholders.
- Monitors and tracks program/project progress and performance against project plans. Reports status to project stakeholders through structured communication (written status reports, steering committee meeting/documents, etc.) as well as informal approaches (ad-hoc requests and email).
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
