Job Description
The Radiology Technologist is responsible for operating x-ray and physiological equipment, maintaining equipment, and recording test results. Key responsibilities include operating all special procedure equipment, selecting and modifying technical factors as needed, strictly obeying isolation and infection control procedures, and completing appropriate forms at the start and end of any special procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography (ARRT-R): Required
- Ability to operate, record, and maintain physiologic equipment in accordance with established clinical cardiovascular procedures
- Capacity to assist during examinations relative to catheterization, filming, and monitoring of patients
