Job Summary:
Picks up and delivers requested items, maintains logs of all calls, and conducts vehicle safety inspection and maintenance. Provides general support to the clinical laboratory and other departments requiring delivery service.
Job Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
- High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
- Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid Driver’s License (DL) and must be at least 21 yrs of age or older: Required
Essential Functions:
- Maintains all vehicle maintenance records transportation logs.
- Prepares and submits required reports to the State.
- Maintains all transportation records and logs.
- Tracks all vehicle statistics and reports such statistics.
- Able to change tires when necessary and troubleshoot vehicle problems.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
