Position: Office Assistant / Retail / Customer Service
Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Company Overview: The Adventure Center of Asheville (ACA) provides high-flying fun for guests of all ages. Located just five minutes from downtown Asheville, NC guests can enjoy expansive views of the Asheville skyline from our Zip Line Canopy Adventure, jump on a mountain bike at Kolo Bike Park, and grab their kids and head up into the trees at Asheville Treetops Adventure Park or check out KidZip, America’s first zip line adventure designed for kids under 10!
Responsibilities:
- Accurately make and confirm reservations with Guests in-person or over the phone
- Provide exceptional friendly, courteous, and patient customer service
- Satisfactorily answer Guests’ questions pertaining to rates, activities, promotions, etc.
- Effectively work with all ACA staff to ensure a seamless Guest experience
- Assist with completing daily opening and closing procedures
- Maintain a well-organized retail space and restock items as needed
- Accurately complete and submit daily sales reports
- Communicate any needs or challenges appropriately to the Assistant Manager
- Maintain a fun, professional, and friendly work environment
Skills/Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required
- Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the United States
- Excellent customer service , communication, and listening skills
- Ability to demonstrate patience and effective problem-solving skills
- Proficient in the use of computers and MS Word/Excel
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Full availability to work weekends, holidays, long hours, and irregular shifts
Additional Information: Full-time and part-time seasonal positions are available March-October, with the possibility to extend contract through December, 2023. Hourly wage DOE.
