ADVENTURE MOTORSPORTS is seeking a skilled and passionate Motorcycle Service Technician to join our team. As a Motorcycle Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of motorcycles. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest standards of safety and performance for our customers' motorcycles.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on motorcycles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake adjustments.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Perform complex repairs and overhauls on engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and other motorcycle components.
  • Follow manufacturer guidelines and service manuals to ensure proper repair procedures are followed.
  • Keep accurate records of all services performed and parts used.
  • Assist with pre-delivery inspections and setup of new motorcycles.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair processes and provide maintenance advice.
  • Uphold a clean and organized work environment, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve technical skills.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a formal motorcycle technician training program or relevant work experience.
  • Proven experience as a Motorcycle Service Technician, preferably in a dealership or service center setting.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Proficiency in using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid motorcycle driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to continually update skills and knowledge through training and certifications.

Preferred:

  • Manufacturer certifications for specific motorcycle brands.
  • Previous experience with specific motorcycle brands handled by the company.
  • Additional technical certifications related to motorcycles or automotive repair.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50.00 - $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 – 48 per week
