We are seeking an assistant teacher to join our organization! This individual will plan and present age appropriate activities for children.
Responsibilities:
- Work with our children doing activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
- Create a nurturing and safe environment
- Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
- Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
- Maintain the health and safety of all students
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
- Passionate about working with children
- Ability to build rapport with children
- Positive and patient demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Education Requirements:
Qualifications: Six months of teaching experience in a child care center setting. Knowledge of ECE practices and techniques. Ability to communicate with children, parents & staff.
Current First Aid & CPR, Fingerprint & KBI clearance will be required, Current Health Assessment & TB test.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.50 - $12.00 per hour
