Adventure Tours LLC , a fast-growing premier charter bus company, is looking for a skilled and passionate Diesel Mechanic to join our team! Headquartered in Accokeek, MD, we’ve already expanded into multiple markets, including Charlotte, NC; Philadelphia, PA; Richmond, VA; and Long Island, NY , with no plans to slow down. Our mechanics are essential to maintaining a fleet that ensures safe, reliable, and comfortable transportation for schools, corporate groups, tour operators, and more. We are currently seeking a full-time candidate for a 3rd shift position at our Accokeek, MD location. The hours for this role are from 10 : 00 PM to 6 : 30AM.

As a Diesel Mechanic , you’ll take pride in working with an impressive variety of vehicles, from VanHool, MCI, Prevost, and Temsa motor coaches to Ford and Mercedes mini-buses . You’ll gain hands-on experience with nearly every type of engine, transmission, braking system, and suspension technology in the industry.

What You’ll Do

As part of our maintenance team, you’ll :

• Execute preventive maintenance to keep vehicles road-ready and in compliance with safety standards.
• Perform diagnostics and repairs on engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and air conditioning units .
• Address issues identified during pre-and post-trip inspections .
• Collaborate with the Lead Mechanic and Director of Maintenance to prioritize tasks.
• Work on an array of industry-leading vehicles from brands like VanHool, MCI, Prevost, Temsa, Ford, and Mercedes , gaining unmatched expertise.
• Handle nearly any engine, transmission, or braking system challenge, providing a dynamic and rewarding hands-on experience.
• Keep up with the latest technology in modern buses, including emissions systems, telematics, and eco-friendly innovations.
• Provide light training to drivers when necessary to ensure smooth vehicle operation.
