Job Description :
We are currently seeking experienced and professional CDL Class A or B Bus Operators with Passenger Endorsement and Air Brakes to join our team. As a Bus Operator, your primary responsibility will be to operate a commercial bus and provide safe and reliable transportation services. This position requires coordination with dispatch, maintenance of vehicle logs and documentation, adherence to DOT regulations, and ensuring the cleanliness and readiness of the vehicle.

Position :Requirements :
- Applicants must possess a minimum of a valid Class B CDL with air brakes and a P endorsement with a clean driving record
- Applicants must also have a minimum of 2 solid years' experience as a professional driver
- Applicants must not have any history of DUI driving violations, must meet DOT physical qualifications and must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Clean driving record with no accidents in the past 3 years and no more than two moving violations
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation industry practices
- Neat and well-groomed appearance
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Must be 19-A Certified
- Operate a commercial bus and transport passengers according to assigned routes and schedules.
- Ability to safely load, transfer, and unload passengers' luggage
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Assist customers during boarding and exiting, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing passenger inquiries and concerns
- Maintain a clean and presentable bus interior
- Conduct vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure proper functioning of all equipment and safety features.
- Coordinate with dispatch to ensure efficient pick-up and transfers.
- Report any mechanical issues or accidents to the appropriate authorities
- Prepare and submit reports on passengers, trips, hours worked, mileage, fuel consumption, and fares received.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
