Adventurous Journeys Capital Partners ("AJCP") is seeking a Designer for its internal design team, which helps support its rapid growth across various investment platforms focused on the hospitality, mixed-use, and single-family rental sectors.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Design Team SupportSupport efforts for the development of a project with input from studio lead including execution of design concepts, FFE selections, specifications, shop drawing review, and construction administrationAssist in developing space plans and furniture layoutsSupport in selections and specifications of finish materials, furniture & fabricsAid in the development of concepts, design and drawings for custom millwork and furnitureAssist in shop drawing review and submittals, assist in responding to RFI'sInterface with architects, vendors, contractors, and consultants & participate in project meetings and callsOrganize & prioritize own work efforts as well as assist with team members' tasks & meetingsSome vendor relations and library maintenance as neededDevelop artwork concepts alongside team, and coordinate details for production with artwork vendor and project teamRequirements

Required
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field3 years of relevant experienceMust be proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Adobe Photoshop / InDesignExperience in hospitality, multi-family, restaurants, etc.Strong knowledge of the design process including specification of materials, FFE and color theoryDesire & ability to work in a creative, quick-moving environment on multiple projectsPreferred
Experience with 3D modeling through SketchUp or other modeling software.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensations, or range thereof, for roles that will be performed in Illinois. Actual salaries may vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, role and performance. The range listed is just one component of AJCP's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range : $60,000-$85,000. Other rewards may include annual bonuses. In addition, we provide a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off.
