The position will support the defined marketing objectives in accordance with the short and long term strategic goals of the Credit Union. This position is responsible for managing and enhancing digital marketing systems such as social media, marketing automation platform (e.g., email, secure forms and text messaging) to deliver effective marketing messages. This position will work within the marketing team to execute campaigns while continuously leveraging technology to meet the needs of the credit union. Responsible for analyzing effectiveness, recommending and implementing enhancements to digital communication platforms to impact SEO, audience engagement, and e ciency in digital advertising spend; partnering with content team to identify opportunities for improvements and ways to leverage digital marketing technology. This is accomplished by providing outstanding service to both internal and external members as defined by living and demonstrating the core values of the credit union; Act with Integrity, Drive Progress, Build & Strengthen Relationships and Keep People at the Core.

As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will have opportunities to:
- Optimize our organizational use and efficiency of digital marketing technology and social channels. Understanding and navigating Advia’s e-communication tools available to provide support in systems enhancements, message strategy and deployment – examples include: website, social media, marketing automation platform suite (email, secure forms, PURLs, surveys, digital document rack, polls, events, trigger communications, etc.). Supports and maintains defined branding elements of credit union in all communication channels. Skilled with professional and creative writing tactics as needed in promotional initiatives.
- Contributes to overall marketing effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and course of action. Works closely with other members of Marketing team to identify scope of marketing and communication strategies and determine and implement the message design and channels to best convey to the target audience, creating content to drive an excellent member experience.
- Represents the Credit Union at Community events or other external functions as needed.
- Contribute to content analysis on our pages which helps position us favorably against key competitors within our markets (e.g., SEO, Google Analytics, PPC keyword planning). Studies and stays current with emerging trends in communication channels, media and promotional strategies, financial related product features and utilization among target audiences.
- Digital UX enhancements – Web, email, lead forms, SMS/Text marketing, Digital Banking banner ads, etc. Google Analytics & Search and other Keyword planning – monitoring and enhancing external PPC. Marketo marketing automation platform.
- Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Additionally, all employees must follow policies and procedures to minimize risk by exercising judgment, raising questions to management, and adhering to policy guidelines.
Experience
Three years to five years of similar or related experience in graphic production, preferably for banking or financial services. Knowledge of marketing automation software, presentation design, graphic design, color and typography; broad based knowledge of digital marketing and communication strategies.
Education/Certifications/Licenses
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing or related field preferred.
Interpersonal Skills
A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required. In-depth dialogues, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors can be of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature. Communications may involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance.
Physical Requirements
Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 5 lbs. Must be capable of climbing/descending stairs in emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine o ce equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must by capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.
Working Conditions
Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise.
Mental and/or Emotional Requirements
Must be able to perform job functions with supervision and work effectively either on own or as part of a team. Must be able to read and carry out various instructions and follow oral instructions. Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence. Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations with extreme accuracy. Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate highest levels of customer service and discretion when dealing with the public. Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines/requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace. Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on confidential matters.
Salary : $60,600 - $76,800
