Controller - Music & Entertainment Production
Are you a seasoned financial professional passionate about events, music, and productions? Our client seeks a Controller to lead financial operations and drive strategic initiatives. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be key in overseeing accounting functions, financial reporting, and process improvements in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and forecasts.
- Oversee daily financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and reporting for various business units
- Provide actionable financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Manage cash flow, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic financial planning and business growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA A PLUS)
- 5 years of accounting/finance experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting software.
- Experience within events, hospitality, or a creative industry is a plus.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Experience with NetSuite, Oracle, Power BI

Salary: $125k-$145k plus bonus and benefits
