Financial Analyst – SaaS – Hybrid
Our client, a NYC-based Advisory Firm that partners with high-growth start-ups, is searching for a Financial Analyst to join their team as part of their CFO Advisory group. You’ll work on a combination of FP&A, forecasting, budgeting, and corporate accounting / month-end close-related work. This is a newly created role and will work alongside an established team of mentors and former management consultants and investment bankers.
The company partners with several high-growth tech companies to assist with their growth, strategy, and overall financial organization as they scale. Their ideal profile would be someone with 2-3 years of experience in a corporate accounting or finance team at a small to mid-size company, who is eager to be more involved in traditional FP&A and strategic finance work.
Location : Midtown, Manhattan – 3 days per week on-site
Responsibilities :
- Provide direction and guidance to the Accounting team as they perform their duties to ensure timely, accurate and consistent delivery
- Work with the budgeting team to create a comprehensive overview of financial and operational performance.
- Contribute to the development and execution of go-to-market strategies, providing senior management with actionable recommendations and analyses.
- Aid in the creation and maintenance of annual budget and financial models, conducting scenario analyses by product for the entire business.
- Foster collaborative relationships throughout the broader organization.
- Conduct corporate accounting responsibilities surrounding the month-end close, financial reporting, fixed assets, consolidations, and technical accounting projects
- Assist with the quarterly and yearly financial statements and financial controls audits
- Prepare balance sheet and income statement variance analysis for management and assist with all financial reporting needs
- Monitor and analyze department work to improve and develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Participate in various business processes and technology integration initiatives
Requirements :
Salary : $90K – $100K plus 15% bonus
