We currently have an opening on our Manufacturing Engineering team. Specific requirements of the position include: * Coordinating new product launches and repurposing of existing equipment on assigned machine lines; * Overseeing design changes in tooling, fixtures and gages; * Leading Kaizen and other improvement activities; and * Influencing Quality & Production to realize cost reductions through greater efficiencies; * Managing line efficiencies with a focus on safety and ergonomics; * Working with outside vendors to ensure smooth project integration with minimal impact to current production; * The ability and desire to occasionally travel internationally for projects. Successful candidates will possess: * Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering Degree; * Relevant experience in a CNC machining and/or automotive environment preferred; * Great project and time management skills; * Good knowledge of Inventor/AutoCAD; * Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate ideas at all levels; * Systematic troubleshooting abilities/root cause analysis; * Working knowledge of GD&T principles; * Strong sense of ownership.
