A fast-paced and growing wholesale distributor is seeking to hire a full-time Communications Coordinator to join the Team. This is a challenging position with growth opportunities. Communications efforts will support the business across categories of wine, beer, spirits, and other sub-categories, and across the territories of South Carolina, North Carolina and Tennessee. Benefit package includes paid vacation and sick leave, health and disability insurance access, and eligibility to participate in a company 401k plan. Full benefit details available upon request. Position reports to Jessica Haldeman, Chief Business Development Officer.  

Compensation based on qualifications and experience

Responsibilities include: 

  • · Product data integrity 

  • · Understand ongoing priorities for company by joining purchasing and brand management discussions, and working alongside Buyers to support brand launches, supplier and company priorities through marketing efforts.

  • · Mirror company initiatives in communications content, timing publication for maximum impact.

  • · Execute daily, weekly and monthly marketing content, including but not limited to newsletters, features, event support and educational materials.

  • · Organize and distribute point-of-sale merchandise, printed collateral, etc.

  • · Utilize and help manage online platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, SevenFifty/Provi, Dropbox, Slack, Canva.

  • · Maintain company websites

  • · Utilize internal platforms of communication to keep the sales team informed on company goals and priorities.

  • · Create marketing content and maintain social media and web sites for private label brands

Skill Requirements: 

  • · Detail oriented and organized 

  • · Ability to multi-task, manage a priority list, work independently, and maintain a high level of self-motivation and accountability. 

  • · Excellent, professional written and verbal communication skills 

  • · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel 

  • · Current and knowledgeable in social media platforms 

  • · Positive, team-focused attitude 

  • · Willingness to go above-and-beyond, and take on tasks outside of their normal scope of work
