Tax Manager Position
We are a rapidly expanding and reputable Wealth Management Firm, seeking an experienced Tax Practice Manager to lead our new Tax Preparation services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement: Conduct client consultations, manage onboarding, and provide strategic tax advice.
- Tax Preparation: Oversee individual, trust, partnership, and S-Corp filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Process Optimization: Standardize workflows, leverage technology to improve processes, and enhance the client experience.
- Cross-Training: Provide monthly training for advisory staff on tax strategies and tax law updates.
- Bookkeeping Services: Offer hourly bookkeeping and reconciliation services to support clients' financial records.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education/License: CPA required; Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master in taxation or designations/licensing a plus.
- Experience: 5 years in tax preparation, including complex returns for families and business clients.
- Skills: Proficient in tax technology and software; strong communication, analytical, and project management abilities.
