The Role:
You will work with multiple financial advisors and will be required to assist in a wide variety of support functions for the practice, thus making a significant contribution to the success of the firm. Individuals in this role support advisors by providing comprehensive administrative, client relations, and planning support. This role is meant to be a starting point for the career path to Financial Advisor. Responsibilities defined below, but may not be all inclusive.
Responsibilities:
- Independently handle all client service questions, changes, or problem-solving of account issues
- Interface with the Broker-Dealer, fund companies, custodians and insurance companies.
- Deliver exemplary service to all clients, and concierge-level service to select groups, as directed by the advisor
- Gather, organize, and input client data into financial planning software
- Prepare annual reviews and sit in on client meetings, taking notes as directed
- Manage workflow to ensure timely delivery of financial plans
- Communicate instructions on how to register for online client access
- Support the team with other initiatives, tasks and projects as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 2 years prior Financial Services experience is desired
- 2 years of prior Sales experience is highly desired
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience working with Financial Planning software (eMoney, MoneyGuide Pro, etc.) is desired
- Must have or be willing to acquire FINRA SIE, Series 7, Series 63/65 or 66 and insurance licenses (within 6 months of hire)
