Financial Planner Assistant – Wilmington, Delaware

We assist clients with investment management, education and retirement planning, tax strategies, and insurance and estate planning. Providing clients with a top-notch service experience is a hallmark of the Advisor’s practice. A significant component of that service experience is provided by our administrative staff.

Responsibilities -
- Schedule client meetings and manage the Advisor’s calendar.
- Prepare for client meetings by creating agendas and gathering reports and product summaries/statements
- Post client meeting follow-up including advisor notes, service work needed, collect missing documents from client and record completed notes in Redtail CRM in preparation for the next meeting
- Process completed client insurance and investment applications with precision through our software systems, following through on any needed details including contacting clients for additional items; shepherding money movement, and maintaining communication throughout the entire planning process
- Extensive tracking of new business and service items in motion using our CRM system, Redtail; identifying issues and proactively problem-solving. Interface with home office or product companies and respond promptly
- Deliver first class service to clients by anticipating their needs, and understanding that they are the priority
Key requirements –
· 3-5 years prior experience supporting a financial advisor is required
· FINRA Series 7 or Series 6 is strongly desired
· Strong analytical skills and exemplary attention to detail
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Microsoft Office Suite – most important: Outlook, Excel, and Word. Must be intermediate or better in Excel
· Strong computer skills: ability to learn new systems quickly; experience with Wealthbox would be a plus
· An Associate degree is required. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred
