Senior Software Engineer - Platform (Remote)

Advisor360 is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build shared services and tools, drive operational excellence, and automate systems in a hybrid-cloud environment. This role demands a balance of tactical problem-solving and strategic execution, from resolving customer-impacting issues to driving long-term initiatives.

• Design, develop, debug and maintain application services and supporting tools
• Identify patterns that affect the performance, reliability, or availability of our product and eliminate through the application of automation or other technical innovation
• Write high-quality, clean, efficient, and well-documented code to create reusable and modular components
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
• Lead and document operational best practices for other cross-functional team members
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies, bring new ideas and approaches to the teams

Basic Qualifications

• 5 years of programming with at least one modern language such as C , C#, Java, Python, Golang and scripting Bash, PowerShell or Ruby experience
• 5 years of systems design, software development, operations, automation, and process improvement experience
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes and testing
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

Preferred Qualifications

• Possess a cross-domain understanding of the technologies supporting SaaS applications and cloud deployments. Experience developing applications on any Cloud Platform (AWS, Azure, Google, others)
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions is preferred
• Familiarity with IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible
