Sr. Software Engineer - Front End

Job Brief 

Are you an experienced frontend engineer who thrives on building elegant, performant user interfaces that enhance the user experience? Are you fluent in modern JavaScript frameworks and have a strong eye for detail, design, and usability? Do you enjoy solving complex problems, collaborating across teams, and mentoring others to drive continuous improvement? If this is you, we’d love to chat! 

Here’s What You’ll Do:   

• Act as a technical leader by making significant technical contributions to the planning and implementation of mid- to large-scale projects from conception to completion  

• Demonstrate versatility of knowledge and applies strong technical skill base to contribute to and meet strategic objectives  

• Validate requirements, performs analysis, design, programming, testing, documentation and support for assigned projects to drive application changes  

• Ensure compliance with coding standards and development procedures and suggests opportunities for improvement  

• Acquire and utilizes strong technical and application knowledge to introduce and forecast the impact of new software design patterns, code concepts, and emerging technologies  

• Share information and expertise to improve the productivity of the team and empower individuals  

• Act as a subject matter expert within the organization while resolving complex technical issues or challenges  

• Act as a mentor to develop and support team members  

• Lead multiple projects   

What You Bring to the Table:  

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering and/or equivalent industry experience   

• 7 years of software engineering experience building web applications  

• Expertise in modern front end Javascript frameworks, HTML, SCSS and Javascript coding  

• Experience implementing business critical performant web applications, web services and/or long-running backend data processing applications  

• A leader in coding standards, code reviews, build processes, testing, and operations  

• Experience serving as technical expert throughout the full SDLC with Agile/SCRUM methodology, from architecture definition, detailed design, scoping, planning, implementation, testing to documentation, delivery and maintenance  

• Proven technical leadership and ability to work across the teams   

Preferred Strengths  

• Experience with micro front ends architecture
