We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Engineer with intimate knowledge of the NIST Cybersecurity framework. The ideal candidate will work closely with our IT and Security teams to develop, manage, and enhance security measures to protect sensitive information and systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Essential Responsibilities
- Enhance, implement, and monitor, and maintain security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information.
- Ensure cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards are properly documents and in compliance with the NIST Cybersecurity framework.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and risks.
- Monitor network and system activity to detect and respond to security incidents.
- Collaborate with IT, the Information Security Team, and other departments to ensure cybersecurity measures are integrated into all aspects of the organization.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on cybersecurity best practices and protocols.
- Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
- Enhance and maintain incident response plans to address security breaches and mitigate damage.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Monitor events and conduct forensic investigations and analysis in the event of a security breach.
- Experience with security analysis tools, technologies, and best practices.
- Proven ability to conduct security assessments and audits.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in engineering, administering, securing, and troubleshooting, maintaining, and upgrading a local area network of at least 250-300 nodes and a wide area network spanning across multiple geographically disperse sites..
- Familiarity with Meraki firewalls, switches, and wireless access points; Cisco routers, firewalls, and Nexus switches; and Cisco AMP, Umbrella, DUO, AnyConnect platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on the NIST Cybersecurity framework.
- Strong understanding of network security, encryption, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Relevant certifications, such as:
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
- CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
- CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
- CompTIA Security
- OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional)
