Internal ETF Sales Consultant
 
Advisors Asset Management is looking for Internal ETF Sales Consultants to help drive our ETF Sales initiative. Each Internal ETF Sales Consultant will work alongside an ETF Sales Specialist to increase AAM market share within a specific region. The Internal ETF Sales Consultant is required to meet daily outbound call goals, stay current with portfolio & industry developments and master product and service solutions.  This role may require some travel in the territory as deemed necessary for development.
 
Location – Lisle, IL
 
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist the ETF Sales Specialist with territory management by setting appointments, sending out marketing material, etc.
  • Develop consultative relationships with financial advisors to provide solutions from the AAM product line
  • Effectively communicate the AAM Unique Value Proposition and Differential Competitive Advantage
  • Maintain an understanding of the markets; as well as, strive to continuously learn and adapt to changing industry environments
  • Master the AAM ETF solutions in order to teach and educate advisors and prospects to fully engage in our client’s need
  • Place outbound calls throughout the day using developed selling skills
  • Prospecting new and existing advisors while accurately entering data into Salesforce.com
  • Provide exceptional customer service and financial services advice consistent with the client objectives
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned 
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • 2 years’ experience in the financial services industry – Preferred ETF experience in a sales role
  • Required Education: Bachelor's Degree required, Progress towards CIMA, CFA, CFP, MBA and/or advanced degree preferred
  • Certifications: FINRA SIE, Series 7 & 63
  • Knowledge of Exchange Traded Funds preferred

  • Demonstrated abilities in time management; including, managing multiple projects and meeting strict deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build and grow internal and external relationships
  • Proven experience working collaboratively, improving productivity, and implementing ideas
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point), Internet and contact management systems
