Position: Life Contracting Consultant
Department: Life Operations
Reporting to: Life Contracting Manager
Location: Topeka, KS – onsite
Overview:
As a Life Contracting Consultant, you are responsible for providing outstanding customer service to our advisors when it comes to appointment requests and licensing. This fast-paced role requires you to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, advisors, and insurance carriers. In addition, you will also be responsible for phone calls, emails and existing agent contracting management.
What you’ll do:
- Review and process all requests for appointments and licensing submitted by agents for life insurance
- Ensure accuracy of information provided and all forms needed are included in the contracting
- Forward all completed packets to the proper carrier
- Create, update, and maintain all agent records in our systems
- Follow-up on pending applications with various insurance carriers to keep the licensing process moving forward
- Research and analyze agent issues and provide problem resolution
- Answer phone calls and emails regarding agents’ questions in a timely manner

- Time management with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to learn specific product information, administrative systems, rules and regulations
- PC proficiency, ability to work on several platforms at once
Bonus Points:
- Prior experience working in either the insurance services industry or financial services industry is preferred
- Previous customer service experience
- Bachelor’s degree
