Position Summary
The Operations Associate is responsible for processing and managing submissions. They also seek to continually improve and document the firm’s various operations processes and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Process new account requests by: obtaining and completing account paperwork as needed; processing new account submissions; and setting up new accounts in portfolio accounting system
- Process all other operations submissions including portfolio model changes, fee changes, distributions, and other account service requests and assist with client account trade preparation
- Maintain and improve all standard operating procedures for areas of responsibility
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis on finance or accounting
- High attention to detail and accuracy while carrying out specific workflows and systematic processes
- Advanced Microsoft Excel experience and SQL experience
- Familiar with general technology and software applications (Microsoft Office products, social media, general computer navigation etc.)
- Personable and conversational in person, on the phone and in electronic communications
- Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills
- Excellent computer skills, including typing
- Ability to remain positive regardless of the situation
- Desire to be part of a flexible, team-oriented environment and contribute to the aggressive growth of a small business
Job Type: Full-time
