Roles and Responsibilities
Develop Educational Modules : Create and implement educational programs for the abdominal transplant program.
Train Clinical Staff : Deliver advanced training and orientation to clinical teams.
Ensure Compliance : Uphold adherence to OPTN and CSM guidelines.
Collaborate Across Units : Work with SICU and outpatient transplant units for seamless care delivery.
Lead Classroom Training : Participate in a structured 3-day classroom training program.
Job Requirements
Licensure : Active Texas RN License or multi-state compact RN license
Education : Master’s degree (Education preferred) and BLS certification
Experience : 5 years of acute care nursing experience
Specialized Background : 3 years as a Kidney Transplant Coordinator and 1 year of supervisory experience
Work History : Consistent work history with detailed job tenure
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Epic, OPTN, and CSM guidelines
Certification as a Transplant Coordinator
Strong communication and organizational skills
