Maintenance Technician - Relocation assistance

Our client company is looking for a dedicated  Maintenance Technician  to join their team. This role is essential in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of plant equipment, facilities, and tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and technical aptitude, a commitment to safety, and a proactive approach to preventive maintenance. Schedule :

Must be  flexible, including evenings, weekends, and holidays , based on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities :

• Learn set-up, operation, adjustments, and operating parameters of production equipment.
• Safety must always be a priority, must remedy any unsafe conditions as quickly as possible.
• Assess maintenance and repair problems with follow-up.
• Repair equipment when breakdowns occur to maintain production, and perform plumbing and electrical work as needed.
• Develop and maintain strong communication with machine operators, department supervisors, and managers.
• Facilitate implementation of preventive maintenance schedule for production equipment & machinery.
• Build spare parts stock for normal wear items.
• Paint any areas and as necessary and repair aesthetic defects such as seals, hinges, hangers, etc., as production schedule allows.
• Develop a daily walk-through routine to identify and document potential problems or issues.
• Be on call, as needed.
• Serve as a role model in projecting and applying company policies and departmental SOPs, and promote a teamwork environment at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
