Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Investigator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in law enforcement or criminal investigation, with a keen ability to conduct thorough surveillance and data collection. This role is crucial in ensuring the integrity of our operations through effective fraud prevention and detection measures. The Investigator will be responsible for gathering evidence, analyzing data, and preparing comprehensive reports that support our mission.
Responsibilities
- Conduct activities to gather evidence related to investigations.
- Collect and analyze data from various sources to identify patterns or discrepancies.
- Perform healthcare fraud investigations, including interviewing witnesses and suspects.
- Implement fraud prevention and detection strategies to mitigate risks.
- Prepare detailed reports documenting findings, methodologies, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders as necessary.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards throughout all investigative processes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in healthcare fraud investigation is required. A minimum of 10 years of progressively increasing experience is required.
- Strong skills in data collection methods.
- Ability to analyze complex information and draw logical conclusions.
- Excellent report writing skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of fraud prevention and detection practices is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of work.
- Must reside in the State of Mississippi, and have prior Medicaid investigation experience, along with operational and policy related knowledge.
