We are a private, nonprofit Community Action Agency committed to our mission of \"creating opportunities for people and communities to reduce poverty and increase self-sufficiency.\" Home Delivered Meal Driver Substitute Oshkosh ADVOCAP\'s Food & Nutrition program is accepting applications for a Home Delivered Meal Driver as a substitute for our Winnebago County service area. We help people in their golden years and persons with specialized needs have access to delicious and nutritious daily meals. This position will conduct well-being checks and provide friendly conversation to brighten participants days. This position will have a welcoming and friendly personality to ensure comfortability in working with those in their golden years and persons with specialized needs. This will align with our core mission and values. This position is responsible for managing the food service operation and ensuring meals are served to the individuals we help. Responsibilities Include : Assist with packing up the nutritious meals for delivery. Have the ability to drive a route delivering meals to home-bound elderly on an as needed basis. Meal delivery is scheduled around lunch time. When called in or scheduled to work the schedule is Monday Friday starting at 9 : 45am and work up to 3 hours based on the route you are assigned to. During assigned route, provide welfare check and bring your friendly attitude to see smiles of hope in the elderly or disabled.
- OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS : Job Requirements : High school diploma or GED / HSED and 13 months of previous related work experience Possess a valid Driver\'s License and good driving history acceptable to our insurance carrier, required.
