Advocare Medical Center at Budd Lake is seeking an immediate Full or Part Time Physician to join a two physician private practice, Internal Medicine/ Pediatrics MD with a General Pediatrician, Family Nurse Practitioner and a Family Practice Physician Assistant. The ideal candidate will have both Internal Medicine and Pediatric experience but we would also be interested in a General Internal Medicine candidate. Partnership opportunity is available for the right candidate after 1-2 years.
Our office has been certified as a Patient Center Medical Home and participates in several different quality care initiatives with multiple insurance companies. We are a well established (30 years) busy internal medicine and pediatric practice located in Budd Lake New Jersey, approximately 60 minutes from New York City. The practice is located in a growing community with many young families. Our patient demographics are a mix of 50% adults and 50% pediatrics. We are affiliated with Morristown Memorial Hospital /Goryeb Children’s Hospital for inpatient care, with a regional level 3 NICU and resident inpatient coverage. We use hospitalists to care for our inpatients. There is opportunity to teach if desired. This position requires on-call duties which are flexible but shared equally between the providers.

Physician Responsibilities
The Physician is responsible for diagnosing and treating patients' illnesses and injuries, taking medical histories, performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, providing patient counseling on health maintenance and preventative care, they also must maintain proper medical records and ensure the quality of care.
Physician Qualifications
- Possess board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine / Pediatrics or Internal Medicine
- Hold a valid and unrestricted Medical License in the State of New Jersey
