Job Responsibilities
- Preparing patients for examinations
- Preparing exam rooms
- Answering telephones
- Scheduling appointments
- Scheduling patients for diagnostic and laboratory services
- Completing administrative tasks including prior authorizations and referrals
- Transmitting prescription refills as directed
Education & Experience
- Minimum of a High School diploma
- At least one year of relevant experience and/or training
- Experience in an Endocrinology office is a plus, but not required
Qualification & Requirements
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong multi-tasking skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as accept direction on given assignments.
- Able to work collaboratively with administration and staff.
