Summary/Objective
The Human Resources Coordinator provides support for Human Resources processes for the Advocare Corporate Office as well as remote Advocare Care Centers. This role is responsible for onboarding new hires, performing background checks, file maintenance and data entry. The Human Resources Coordinator will also respond to employee queries, agency requests for information and other Management requests. The Human Resources Coordinator performs all assigned tasks in accordance with federal and state regulations.
Essential Functions

- Onboarding for all new hires.
- Process, review, and clear background checks.
- Processing change request for salaries, terminations, etc.
- Responsible for sending, receiving paperwork, and maintaining personnel files.
- Completes forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files; tracks document expiration dates and follows up, as needed.
- Purging of I9’s
- Responsible for onboarding New Care Centers
- Rotation of mail collection
- Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
- Performs HR customer service functions by answering employees’ requests and questions.
- Assist with HR email and fax inboxes, responds to or escalates queries for processing; processes departmental mail.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Closely works with Legal, IT and Practice Operations.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Periodic travel to Care Center locations may be requested
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), UKG (UltiPro).
