Key Responsibilities

- Determines appropriate radiological technique and position for patient using immobilization and support devices. ">
- Operates radiology equipment, positions patient, adjusts equipment, secures and immobilizes support devices as needed. ">
- Determines appropriate radiographic technique based on anatomy and patients condition to obtain quality films for the radiologists. ">
- Secures history from patient regarding reason for prescribed test. ">
Requirements
">- ">
- IDNS license. ">
- Graduate from an accredited AMA School of Radiology. ">
- CPR certification. ">
- Licensed by IDNS. ">
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists registered (ARRT). ">
Working Conditions

- Able to work under stressful conditions, in difficult situations. ">
- May be exposed to hazardous materials and life-threatening diseases. ">
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. ">
