Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with respiratory disorders
- Operate specialized equipment, including ventilators and spirometers
- Provide education and support to patients and families on respiratory health and disease management
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care
Requirements and Qualifications
- RRT credential issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Graduate from an accredited respiratory care program with a minimum of an associate degree
