Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment and Care Planning: Use the nursing process to assess the needs of patients, plan and implement individualized interventions, and evaluate the effectiveness of the plan of care.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with other healthcare team members to coordinate patient-centered care, anticipate and recognize significant changes in patient condition, and provide ongoing evaluation of patient outcomes.
- Safety and Quality: Implement strategies to reduce patient risk and increase patient safety, promote a culture of safety through identifying threats to patient safety, and intervene to prevent patient harm.
Requirements
- Licensure and Certification: Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices, Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Education: Completion of an accredited or approved program in Nursing.
- Experience: Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.
