Job Summary:
We are seeking a per diem / prn Ultrasound Technologist to work in Hazel Crest, Illinois. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Position patients correctly and select the right technical factors and equipment to obtain high-quality scans
- Assist physicians with recommendations for optimal studies and provide pertinent patient history
- Maintain accurate records, including patient statistics and supply inventories
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient outcomes
- Comply with established safety standards and regulations
Requirements:
- 6 months scanning experience
- ARDMS registration and CPR certification
- Ability to adjust to flexible hours, respond to emergency calls, and perform lifting activities
