Responsibilities
- Provides coding and documentation education to physicians and clinical staff.
- Conducts new clinician documentation reviews and provides feedback on specialty-specific coding and documentation.
- Coordinates responses to physician and resident questions and feedback from various sources.
- Monitors and resolves charge sessions requiring additional information for assigned clinicians.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical coding and documentation, with at least 5 years of experience in expert-level professional coding and 3 years of educating/training licensed clinicians.
