**Job Summary**
We are seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health in Glenview, Illinois.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- ">
- Performs radiographic procedures on patients to produce high-quality images.
- Maintains competencies in multiple skill sets, including Charge role and preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
- Operates advanced digital and computed radiographic equipment, including Portables, C-arms, O-arms, and Fluoroscopy units.
- Assists Radiologists with fluoroscopic procedures, including GI procedures and mini special exams.
- Troubleshoots diagnostic/fluoroscopic CR and DR equipment, identifies issues, and escalates them as needed.
- Participates in process or quality improvement projects to improve workflow, staff education, and department processes.
**Requirements:**

- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology.
- Certificate or Associate Degree in Radiology Technology.
- Previous experience as a radiographer, or 1 year experience at ALGH as a radiographer.
**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:**
- ">
- Good communication skills.
- Good understanding of R.I.S., working knowledge of Digital Imaging System, and basic computer skills.
- Good understanding of more advanced radiographic procedures.
**Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:**

- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and emergency call-backs.
- May be exposed to radiation during procedures.
- May be required to sit or stand for long periods of time, or lift and move patients.
