Radiology Technologist Level I Job Description
">This position is responsible for performing basic to advanced radiologic procedures, communicating with patients, and preparing records. The ideal candidate will have a Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin, Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
">The selected individual will possess advanced knowledge of radiation safety and radiology equipment, as well as excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient service skills to work effectively with physicians, patients, and other staff members.
">This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing/walking for majority of the day, and pushing/pulling with 30 lbs of force. Personal protective equipment must be worn as necessary.
">The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
