Night Shift Respiratory Position

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Illinois. This full-time position involves working night shifts and requires a high level of expertise in respiratory care.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory care procedures and modalities in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures
• Develop and implement comprehensive plans of care for patients with respiratory conditions
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide seamless patient care
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in respiratory care and technology

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
• RCC certification issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) needs to be obtained within 45 days
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 0 months unless department leader has determined it is not required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 0 months unless department leader has determined it is not required
• Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS) certification issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) needs to be obtained within 0 months unless department leader has determined it is not required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)/American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) needs to be obtained within 0 months unless department leader has determined it is not required
• Neonatal/Pediatric Respiratory Specialist (NPS) issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) needs to be obtained within 0 months unless department leader has determined it is not required
